Study Abroad

As part of the BA (Hons) History course it is now possible to apply for permission to spend the whole of your second year studying history in one of the following American or Australian universities:

• USA
  • East Carolina University
  • South Dakota State University
  • Louisiana State University
  • Texas Tech University
  • State University College, Buffalo, NY
  • University of North Carolina at Greensboro
  • Bridgewater State College, Boston
  • North Carolina State University
• Australia
  • Flinders University, Adelaide
  • Macquarie University, Sydney
  • University of Newcastle (near Sydney)
  • Deakin University, Melbourne
  • University of Technology Sydney

By successfully studying abroad, you would become eligible for the award of a degree with one of the following titles:

• BA (Hons) History with study in North America
• BA (Hons) History with study in Australia

Fees are paid to your home university (MMU) at the normal rate, so your only significant additional expense would be for travel.
