Research
The Department of Politics and Philosophy maintains an active programme of research dissemination, organised around seminar series and conferences. Highlights of the Autumn Term 2004 include the 25th series of the Human Sciences Seminar launched by Wolf Mays and David Melling in 1979, the inaugural meeting of the Workshops in Political Theory, which will now be an annual event, and one day conferences on the 1964 British General Election and on the politics of states in the European Union.
