Want to see for yourself?

Undergraduate full-time study

At MMU we hold two or three Open Days a year – usually in June and October – and details can be found on our website here. These events provide you with the opportunity to find out what life at university will be like – to see the facilities, meet the tutors, look around the student accommodation and see the city you could be living in for the next three years. You can meet current students and ask any of the questions you might still have after reading the prospectus or online course information.

Departmental Visit Days

Visit Days run throughout the spring term. Although aimed at applicants, departments may invite you to attend if you let them have your details. Visit Days provide the opportunity to find out about the University, but more importantly about the course you will be studying – there are taster lectures, presentations and the chance to chat informally to staff and current students about how you will learn and what will be expected of you. It’s an important chance for you to make sure the course is right for you. Visit Days will run from January 2009. The next University Open Day takes place on Wednesday 11 October 2008. If you wish to visit before then please contact the department you are interested in applying to and ask if it would be possible to arrange an individual visit. In the meantime, Take the MMU Experience Tour and find out what it's really like to study at one of Europe's leading universities – the next best thing to visiting yourself!
