Student Infomation Point (S.I.P)
A Student Information Point (S.I.P) is based in the Geoffrey Manton Building (Ground Floor) from Monday 17 September 2007.
Open Monday to Friday from 8:45am to 4:30pm.
This S.I.P provides a range of advice and information to students which is available face to face or by:

Student Support
The Faculty's Student Support Officer provides a dedicated support service to all students currently enrolled on programmes within the Faculty of Humanities, Law and Social Science.

Academic Calendar/
The standard term dates shown below apply to all of the programmes in the Faculty with the exception of the GDipL, LPC and BVC programmes within the School of Law.

TimetablesThe timetable for your programme will be supplied by your Department or School. Please ensure that you obtain a copy of your timetable. |
Exam
If there are any units missing; you are registered for the wrong units or you have any issues with your timetable, please contact your Departmental/ School office office as soon as possible.

Coursework
Deadline dates published in the schedules provided below are the definitive dates for assessed coursework for all full-time undergraduate, part-time (day) undergraduate and postgraduate (day) students in the Faculty.

TranscriptsThe Transcript provides details of your overall results. It will be issued by your Departmental/School office following the Board of Examiners. |
Council TaxThe Council Tax combines a tax on property with a personal element depending on the status of the occupants of the property. As a full-time student, you may be exempt from Council Tax. Download PDF |
Faculty EthicsThe Faculty Ethics procedures are determined by your Department/School in compliance with the University's Ethical Framework You should discuss any potential ethical issues relating to your studies with your tutor and, where necessary, complete an ethics check form and submit it to your Departmental/School Ethics Committee. |
